Hi,
I've updated the VomsSnooper installation instructions, because I've
moved the
RPM to a yum repo on the sysadmin server, www.sysadmin.hep.ac.uk.
Please see https://www.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/VomsSnooper_Tools#BUILD_AND_INSTALL
For convenience, I've stuck the relevant section below.
Cheers,
Steve
:-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BUILD AND INSTALL
The software is open source, and it can be downloaded from this
location. Please choose the newest version.
http://www.sysadmin.hep.ac.uk/rpms/fabric-management/RPMS.vomstools/VomsSnooper-1-27.noarch.rpm
The software is distributed as an rpm file that can be installed on your
system as root, thus:
# rpm -i VomsSnooper-1-27.noarch.rpm
The tools are distributed as relocatable JAR files that reside in
/opt/GridDevel/
To test the installation:
# cd /opt/GridDevel/
# cd vs_scripts
# source set_rpm_paths.sh
# java -jar ant/dist/lib/SiteChecker.jar --help
No build needs to be done, unless you edit the Java software. If you do
need to build it, an ant makefile called build.xml is provided in the
/opt/GridDevel/vs_scripts/ant directory.
The software can be installed with yum. To do so, put the following yum
repo in /etc/yum.repos.d
[root@hepgrid95 yum.repos.d]# cat sysadmin.hep.ac.uk.repo
[sysadmin.hep.ac.uk]
baseurl=http://www.sysadmin.hep.ac.uk/rpms/fabric-management/RPMS.vomstools/
enabled=1
priority=15
[root@hepgrid95 yum.repos.d]#
Then use "yum install VomsSnooper"
Note: the package is (as yet) unsigned. If yum complains about that, use
--nogpgcheck
