Hi all,
We're implementing our ARGUS server for the EMI transition, and have seen some odd behaviour. With an EMI2 ARGUS/CREAM combination, freshly built over the last 2 days (we also see the same behaviour with a UMD-1 CE), we are seeing these errors fairly regularly, but not consistently:
11 Jan 2013 16:41:43,270 org.glite.authz.pep.client.PEPClient - request failed for PEP Server https://svr027.gla.scotgrid.ac.uk:8154/authz
org.glite.authz.pep.client.PEPClientException: Unable to read response from PEP Server https://svr027.gla.scotgrid.ac.uk:8154/authz
11 Jan 2013 16:41:40,251 org.glite.ce.commonj.authz.axis2.AuthorizationHandler - No PEP Server [https://svr027.gla.scotgrid.ac.uk:8154/authz] was able to process the request
org.glite.ce.commonj.authz.AuthorizationException: No PEP Server [https://svr027.gla.scotgrid.ac.uk:8154/authz] was able to process the request
This can be resolved either by waiting, or occasionally by restarting the pepd process on the argus server itself. Has anyone else seen this kind of behaviour? When the CE is talking to the ARGUS server, users are being authorised as we'd expect based on the policy we're using.
Best wishes,
David
