$STARLINK_DIR/Perl/bin/cpanm DateTime
Can't write to cpanm home '/usr/bin/cpanm' …
It didn't try to install anything, but instead ran into a permissions problem attempting to write into the system perl cpanm folder as a standard user.
Just running:
$STARLINK_DIR/Perl/bin/cpanm
alone produced the same error.
The reason we wanted to install Starlink outside of user space was to allow multiple simultaneous users to remote desktop into the server to run it using their own user accounts.
Is there any hope of doing it that way, or do you recommend that we use a shared star user account instead?
Thanks,
Matt
