PhD position in affective neuroscience at the Department of Experimental Clinical and Health Psychology, Ghent University (Belgium)
The Psychopathology and Affective Neuroscience Lab (PANLAB: http://www.pan.ugent.be/), part of The Department of Experimental Clinical and Health Psychology at Ghent University, is seeking to fill a PhD student position in the area of cognitive and emotion control. The student will join a research project situated in the context of a university-wide multidisciplinary research partnership on integrative neuroscience of behaviour control. The precise topic of the PhD project is flexible and will be defined in accordance with the candidate’s interests. The candidate will have access to several state-of-the-art facilities including, behavioural research, eye tracking, ERP/EEG, and fMRI. In addition, recruitment study populations from the lab range from healthy adults, pediatric populations (adolescents) to patients with mood and anxiety disorders.
The PhD position has guaranteed funding for 3 years (with a possible extension of 1 year) starting as soon as possible.
