Hi Chris, hope you are well and it's nice to be back in contact.
Great ideas!
I'd like to offer our involvement -but will need to talk with Chris and the team next week first. Does that give us enough time? We are getting into webinars as a productive platform for virtual sharing and exploration across borders -both geographic and disciplinary, offering connection between practitioners, activists, development professionals, participants of PV projects...for rich learning about PV....so am wondering if we could organise a webinar for the network simultaneously with NZ in September? And include case studies and where possible gear direct from some of the participants of PV projects.
Best wishes
Nick

It's a academic conference and I think would be a good place for discussion on PV in research contexts. I think two sessions, one looking at connections between PV in research and other research practices, or other labels for what's essentially PV (ie PV + breadth), and one looking at the ethics and authenticity of PV (ie PV + depth) would be timely and fit with the wider discussions about PV. It's also a good way to follow up on the IVSA conference + PV handbook launch last year. If anyone has any better ideas or would find it helpful to tweak the panel remit a bit to ensure their participation, please let me know straight away.

Given that the two previous conferences have had a strong participatory constituency and a heterogenous mix of participants including artists, activists and practitioners, I think it would be a very appropriate forum to take the idea of a online conference of this network further. Would anyone like to take this one? It would require some work in conjunction with Sara and Geoff in NZ to think through how that would work, or whether it's in fact better and more practical to keep the two things separate.
