I am new to Jiscmail joined today.
I am a lone worker in Occupational Health in the Shipbuilding Industry, have been here just over a year now and it still feels very new to me and am learning every day. I have been in Occupational Health 13 years now in two different industries in my local area.
At the moment I am specifically interested in Hand Arm Vibration. I have completed my HAV FOM course at Buxton so know more than I did. I have an OHP on board for any Tier 4 referrals.
My question is has anyone any information with regard to personal Exposure monitoring for Vibration?
This seems to have fallen to me at the present time to advise the managers / supervisors, so any information would be more than I have at present. I have done lots of reading from L140, so I know roughly I was wondering if anyone has any that they are currently using that may be of help to get me started. Or could point me in the direction of someone who may have any relevant information.
Thanks Rachel
