then contact the most likely section/department for a chat about what's
required. If you get the right person, it can cut out the need to wade
through reading all the regulations, many of which may not apply.

Dear colleagues
An archaeologist needs to bring some samples of modern animal teeth
(e.g. Cow, sheep, goat) to the UK to provide comparative material for
isotope analysis of archaeolgical material from an overseas excavation.
Does anyone know where we can find the relevant procedures about
applying for any permits etc?
