Thank you SO much for link – really helpful to us survivors/service users who are trying to make some sense of the whole recovery thing, and its increasing appropriation and professionalization by MH services! Thought-provoking reading for 2013....
Also, great that MHHE helps make articles like these freely available to those of us who can’t easily access journals etc because we’re not linked in to academic institutions and systems like Athens.....
So thanks to all at MHHE for all the info, articles, discussions etc you’ve provided over the last year. Really invaluable!
Long may you continue. And all the best for 2013

Hi friends and colleagues:
I'm sending forward the open link to a special issue of Studies in Social Justice on the Politics of Recovery and Resilience in Mental Health Care. Some of you helped Alison Howell ad I through the process of co-editing this special issue (thanks!), and for others this might be of use in you scholarship and teaching. The issue offers a variety of critiques on how the recovery model, participation, and resilience are being taken up in practice, as well as some modes of resistance. My hope is that this issue will compliment the work that you are all already undertaking. Here's the link:

Please feel free to circulate to your networks, thanks for you ongoing work & support and -- happy new year! jijian
