Hello all,
I'm currently thinking a lot about how we manage information and knowledge.
We do this very well about our objects - as many of you do, we have a database and all the information about objects is stored in here in a variety of ways and formats.
I'm interested to know what you all do with other information - for example:
- your organisation's history (either in simplified form or very detailed)
- biographies of key curators and personalities
- macro-level information about individual collections within the collections
- information about projects run in the organisation (overviews, outcomes rather than day-to-day management)
- even anecdotal trivia or information about the organisation
How do you collate this information across the organisation? How do you organise it?
Any information, examples or suggestions greatly received.
Regards,
Adrian
