Hello all,
I have been following this with interest as I would like to add books
to both our library webpage and the facebook page. However, we do not
subscribe to LibraryThing for Libraries nor are the sites Wordpress
sites. Does anybody have any suggestions? Has anybody used the amazon
widget on their library site or facebook page?
Kind regards,
Claire Bell

I have also pointed Kevin towards the new Book Display Widget from
LibraryThing for Libraries.
There is a "showcase" page for it at
http://www.librarything.com/forlibraries/bd_showcase.php
If anyone would like more information about it, please do get in
touch.
Best wishes,

Subject: New book carousel widgets
Hello, we're looking into new ways of promoting our new library stock,
and wondered whether anyone had any experience of using carousel
widgets, such as those Amazon use for their items.
https://widgets.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-Carousel-Widget/?id=V20070822/GB/amawid-21/8010/5081e288-f397-447c-bd2c-380d48bba10b&ref=assoc_wdgt_gb
I've noticed various libraries have them on their Libguides and
wondered how they were doing it. For instance, this is City University
http://libguides.city.ac.uk/content.php?pid=239258&sid=1974149
We don't have Libguides, but wondered how we could implement something
like this on our website/blog, with potentially a link to our catalogue
for each book.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Kevin
