Dear colleagues,
We are thinking of experimenting with new ways to improve user experience and broaden users' information gathering capabilities and QR codes have come up in our discussions. We have been considering the idea of perhaps having QR codes to offer users contact info or direct them to virtual tours or instructions on how to use library equipment.
That said, I am indeed conscious that there is no point in technology for its own sake so I'm interested to hear from anybody who did implement and measure results of a campaign including QR codes? Do you believe QR codes assist your current members? Or can it be used to encourage more people to use your services?
Any thoughts, ideas, experiences welcome.
Many thanks
Kind regards,
Maria
