Corporate GIS Developer (permanent) - £30,750 to £34,850 pa
The City of London Corporate GIS team seeks to recruit an experienced GIS Developer to join the team.
The purpose of this job is to:
- Develop and maintain web based mapping to support the full range of the City of London's functions using JavaScript and Bing API.
- Maintain the ArcGIS Server environment.
- Promote GIS through presentations, training courses, continued professional development sessions and via the intranet, internet and communications groups.
The successful candidate is likely have the following experience:
- Delivering high quality web based mapping using ArcGIS Server, JavaScript API & Bing API (or similar)
- Web Standards (including accessibility and cross browser support).
- Defining, agreeing and documenting business specifications for GIS projects.
- Managing and delivering GIS projects through their full life cycle, within time and budget constraints.
- Delivering high quality GIS presentations and training courses.
- Developing and maintaining effective operational relationships with service users and suppliers.
