Hi all,
I have a teaching sample reputedly from "Elkin Peak" that is a black, fine- to medium-grained, lineated and foliated hornblende schist. It's a great teaching sample but one small piece among 20+ students in lab is just not working. Can anyone help me find/acquire more? I do not have any other location information. (Sample also has ~15% plag and quite a bit of titanite as well as quartz, zircon, apatite, biotite, and magnetite.) Any ideas?
Thank you,
