I am planning on submitting a paper proposal for the ASA conference in November - which has as its theme "Mobility, Migration and Flows." My paper would look at how the colonial government in Kenya perceived and dealt with Ethiopian refugees after the Italian invasion in the 1930s. I was wondering if others would be interested in putting together a panel, either geographically-based (Kenya, Eastern Africa) or thematically-focused (refugees in colonial Africa). Below is the CFP and further information.
