You are all invited to the one day workshop on “Recent advances on the changepoint problem”, to be held at Cass Business School, City University London on February 19th, 2013. The workshop is organized thanks to the sponsorship of the Royal Economic Society (RES) and of the Centre for Econometric Analysis (CEA@Cass).
The purpose of the meeting is to have presentations from leading scholars on the recent advances on the changepoint problem, its related fields (such as the structural break problem), and its applications to finance and economics.
Local organisers are Sonia Falconieri and Lorenzo Trapani (Faculty of Finance, Cass Business School).
Confirmed speakers include: Lajos Horvath (keynote speaker; Utah University), Valentina Corradi (Warwick University), Piotr Fryzlewicz (LSE), William Pouliot (Birmingham University), Gregory Rice (Utah University), Myung-Hwan Seo (LSE).
Participation to the seminar is free of charge, but we request that you register for catering purposes.
We particularly invite PhD students and early career researchers to attend the meeting. We have some funds, kindly provided by the RES, to reimburse travel expenses for PhD students; please contact Lorenzo Trapani ([log in to unmask]) for more information.
