I think the idea of a blog on specific subjects being discussed is a great idea. It would also visually be much more stimulating as related video and images could be added and as Sharron stated this would be a fantastic resource.

I was surprised because all this time I thought I was, because I've been getting all these emails and joining discussions etc. My navigation skills aren't great but I could not find how this membership might be attained. It seems that it is by invitation only. Is it possible to be invited?

Of course, when I visited the DRN website, I found this is happening. But perhaps this kind of forum could be used more thoroughly. For instance, if folk are interested in the interface of dance and drawing, or drawing and emotions, a blog forum could be a rich and more thoughtful way of building such a conversation. Images could be shared and it could in fact become a comprehensive resource rather than a scattered array of emails that just get lost. An initial email could alert members (or non-members in my case) that there is a new blog discussion, or get some idea of how many would be interested in being involved. Etc. Even for those who may not be interested immediately, the resource will still be there in the future. Could this work and help to resolve some of the issues voiced recently?
