Dear colleagues,
I am sorry to have to circulate the very sad news of the passing of
historian Professor Mary Turner on January 22nd, 2013. Mary was such an
inspiration to many of us in the Society for Caribbean Studies. She will be
very much missed. Our sympathies go especially to her friends and family.
