The Journal of Islamic State Practices in International Law (JISPIL) is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for its Huly 2013 edition.
JISPIL is a peer reviewed electronic journal (available at: www.electronicpublications.org) and available on Hein Online.
Editors:
Prof. Shaheen Sardar Ali, University of Warwick Prof Javaid Rehman, Brunel University Dr Amir Ali Majid, Barrister Dr Ayesha Shahid, Brunel University
Topics of particular interest include:
Islamic State application of international law, Comparative Islamic State practice; The application of Sharia in Islamic or non-Islamic States; The accommodation of Muslims in non-Islamic States
Articles
The journal comprises of two sections – (1) ‘Articles’ and (2) ‘Recent Developments’.
Submissions for ‘Articles’ should be between 5,000 and 10,000 words, whereas,
submissions to ‘Recent Developments’ should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words.
Book Reviews
Those interested in undertaking a book review should contact Miss Bnar Shekhani [log in to unmask] to receive an up to date list of received books.
The deadline for submitting papers for the December edition is 15th April 2013. Submissions received after this date will only be considered for the following edition.
