Whatever was going on with the Croydon Survey Monkey form yesterday morning, it was back in action yesterday evening and I managed to plough through it to leave a note of my feelings, both as an archivist and as a Croydon voter! The consultation did comprise a huge mass of options on council spending overall and it took a long time to work through to a free-text option at the end - I would expect it to take a while to process the results so I think it would still be worth people in the profession making their voices heard. There is a general web contact form through which free-text issues can be raised with the council, at https://secure.croydon.gov.uk/eforms/ufsmain;jsessionid=21AB7046927B4FF3A811B87C5C62CE2A?esessionid=21AB7046927B4FF3A811B87C5C62CE2A_1&formid=EXT_PC_CONTACT_COUNCIL - if a lot of things relating to the archives start coming through here and drowning out the normal stuff about refuse collection and dog-fouling, they'll certainly notice.
