Colleagues
We have a code of "AM" for misconducts, which are pending investigation. If the case has been investigated then what would show on the transcript would be the result of the penalty applied (if found guilty). This would often be failure in the assessment concerned or a lower markl, if marks have been deducted.
Regards,
Clare

Subject: Re: Transcript Enquiry - Academic Misconduct
Middlesex University regulations state:
All confirmed offences of academic misconduct must be recorded on the student’s record as grade P. This grade to remain throughout the student’s registration at Middlesex University and to be replaced on formal documents by grade 20.
A transcript or diploma supplement would not indicate that a student was under investigation for suspected academic misconduct

Subject: Transcript Enquiry - Academic Misconduct
Dear Colleagues
At the University of Glamorgan we are making some amendments to our transcripts. We display both passed and failed modules on transcripts, along with the status / recommendation for the module. The changes have raised whether the status of Academic Misconduct (Academic Offence) should be displayed.
Please can you confirm if you display on the Official University Transcript:
• Academic Misconduct against a module and / or year if the misconduct has been upheld?
• Academic Misconduct against a module and / or year if the misconduct has been investigated?
I’m happy to circulate a summary of responses if you wish.
Kind regards
