TEG Introduction to Touring Exhibitions pilot training session
In response to a survey of members Touring Exhibitions Group (TEG) is
developing a training session that will offer 'An Introduction to Touring
Exhibitions'. Our aim is to create a professional development package for a
wide range of venues and staff with different levels of experience. The
training will be rolled out in spring 2013.
There will be a pilot training session at Wrexham Museum in March 2013
produced in partnership with the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A). This
session will test the training content and collate evaluation, enabling
participants to attend a discounted training session and contribute to the
creation of the professional development package. The cost of the session
will be just 30 per person.
The training session will:
- Provide an introduction to touring exhibitions
- Explore the perspective of both the producer of the exhibition and also
the hiring venue
- Share up-to-date examples of best practice
- Provide networking opportunities
Venue: Wrexham Museum
Date: 1st or 3rd week of March 2013
Cost for participants: 30
To qualify for one of these discounted places you just need to complete a
short survey, it will take less than 10 minutes. The purpose of the survey
is to assess how TEG can help create a training session that fulfills your
and/ or your colleagues training needs.

You need to complete it before 5pm on Thursday 24 January 2013 to be
