Dear All,
At the end of November 2012, the V&A’s new Furniture Gallery opened
up on our 6th floor, with some great pieces of furniture on display.
One feature launched in the gallery was the use of touch screen
software to replace physical labels.
The software for this was developed by the V&A Digital Media team. We
have now released this software as open source on GitHub under a
permissive BSD License.
More details are available in this post on the V&A Digital Media blog:
http://www.vam.ac.uk/b/blog/digital-media-va/open-sourcing-digital-labels?utm_source=vam.ac.uk&utm_medium=mcglst&utm_content=digi-labels&utm_campaign=blg
Comments welcome on the post.
We like to encourage contributing to the community, so we hope this may
prove of use to others.
