Hi everyone
A couple of reminders. We have our next day conference in Northampton on 26th March. I am still open to suggestions/offers for one of the workshop slots in the afternoon. Do you know of anyone using an engaging approach to ethics teaching which we haven't included in the previous events? If so, please let me know asap, via [log in to unmask] As usual we are also open to offers of shorter "swapshop" presentations if you want 7 minutes to explain a little about your latest innovations. Thanks.
At the most recent event (May 2012), I spoke about our "Headline bioethics" approach in which students write reviews of the ethics content in BBC news stories, some of which have then been shared with a wider audience via Bioethicsbytes. I also produced a poster about this for a recent Teaching and Learning event. A copy can be found here http://lefthandedbiochemist.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/headlinebioethicsjan13.pdf
We expect to open bookings for this year's conference early in February, but please ensure the date is in your diary now.
Best wishes
Chris
