Hi
to clarify...
if you click publish in the editor it makes your preview and published versions identical e.g. publishes any changes.
if you make changes and only preview without publishing then preview saves your changes but doesn't publish the changes to the versions others see or to the export version.
When you close the editor after previewing changes but not publishing it should prompt do you want to publish those changes. If you click ok your changes are published, if you don't click ok to publish your changes aren't lost (as long as you previewed) but aren't committed to the published version.
If you then click the publish button in the workspace it will publish any changes made since you last published.

Hi Ron,
Thank you for your quick reply.
It worked now after I published the learning object. The reason I was confused earlier as the 'Publish' button was activated when selecting a project. I did not realise that I published a project rather than the learning object.
Best wishes

Hi
you need to click publish to publish your changes before exporting.
Preview saves your changes for you to see.
Publish commits any recent changes to the version that is viewed by others if made public, or to the export version.

Hi there,
Today I used the JISC online toolkit http://www.techdisplayxerte.info/ to create a learning object. It worked fine when I previewed the pages.
However, after having exported the project as a zip, I got a blank webpage when opening the index.htm.
I would appreciate any advice or help. Thank you.
Kind regards
Fawei
