The EOS announcement about the 1140 series (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/wireless/ps5678/ps10092/end_of_life_notice_c51-716190.html) only lists the 1142 product codes as being discontinued. It's not clear whether the 1141 will still be available. The same arguments apply to the 1040 series, so it may be that the 1041 will still be available.
The release notes for 7.4 don't show a final release version for the 1040 or 1140 products
