Thanks Paul. I'll modify the text on our version then to avoid confusion. Some of our tutors are keen on moderating and sending back the feedback, but I guess that's something they need to do manually at the moment.
Best wishes,
Julie

Subject: Re: Emailing student feedback
Hi,
I think the intention was that if an academic wanted to email the feedback statements to the individual students concerned, we (as IT staff) would extract the relevant comments and email them out to the students on their behalf.
I don't remember ever doing this for an academic during my time supporting WebPA OS at Loughborough, and I don't think we ever wrote the code to do the extraction and email automatically.
All the recent WebPA guidance about feedback comments was that they were anonymous, and for the tutor's eyes only, so emailing them out would never happen anyway.
For now, the text should just be ignored.

Subject: Emailing student feedback
Dear All,
One of our tutors has spotted the following text underneath the heading for the ‘Student Grades and Feedback’ report:
“This report can be used to upload WebPA assessment marks into the grade book. Comments are not currently supported for upload. If you would like the comments emailed to your students please contact your WebPA administrator.”
I wasn’t aware of a feature for emailing students the comments, have I missed something or was this a service specific to whoever developed this report?
Best wishes,
Julie
