Subject: Crops and Agroforestry Research Technician position at the Organic Research Centre
Dear AESG members,
The Organic Research Centre is advertising for a Research Technician to work at our agroforestry site in Suffolk. Please see website for more details.
Crops & Agroforestry Research Technician – Ref: RES1301
The Organic Research Centre is looking to appoint a research technician to work within its Crops & Agroforestry team based at our eastern site, Wakelyns Agroforestry, in Suffolk. We see this as an early career job and so potential and willingness to learn are more important than specific experience. Full training will be given. The candidate would possess an HNC/D or equivalent experience in an Environmental, Biological or Agricultural discipline. They would be willing to undertake routine field assessments throughout the year while possessing the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail. A proactive and positive attitude is essential. The ability to work in a team environment is very important, but the successful candidate would also possess the confidence to work independently as required.
The closing date for applications is 9am Monday 4th February 2013 and interviews will be held at Wakelyns Farm, Fressingfield, Suffolk on Wednesday 20th February 2013.
Best wishes
Jo
