There isn't anything generic - it will always depend on the nature of the images and the purpose for which they are held. A photo of an important building might be held in perpetuity in archive conditions; a staff ID photo might be held securely but updated periodically to ensure accuracy and so on.

Subject: Digital Image Library
Hi there,
I'm currently working on the implementation of a corporate wide EDRMS. One of our streams is a Digital Image Library but I'm struggling to find any retention or security guidance around the storing of photographs. Does anyone have anything or could point me in the right direction?
Many thanks
Vicki
