Yes well it's mid-summer madness here of course, Pat. There have been adaptations of course but many still go the full roast and pud, even on blistering north wind days. I know the pagan festivals predate the Christian ones and it did make sense to get stuck in to all that stored tucker and batten down the hatches. Here, however, it seems to start late September with supermarkets having Christmas aisles and mad buggers driving around with antlers on their car rooves. Enough already.
