I had a similar problem with a mentee who changed part way in and while
they are the same type of job the differences are noticeable, it was
recommended by the assessor I asked that she choose to either start again or
just do first post as there isn't enough space to do both posts and show
what is needed in detail.
This helped us a lot as she could focus on the new job and what she now
could bring in to it.
Remember that the portfolio is a measure of you and not your job, so I would
suggest finishing it in the old post and send it off :-)
Good Luck
Ruan

Subject: Chartership- moving jobs during the process
Hi everyone,
Since I have had some fantastic wisdom in the past from this list, I thought
id ask for some advice.
I am currently working on my chartership and am reaching the end of my 12
month evidence gathering stage. I am in a non-professional role but have
been given support by my current manager to undertake professional projects.
I have been offered a new professional level post, which will start in the
new year.
My question is- should I just tie everything up from my current role and
submit my portfolio using this? Or should I continue to work on this during
the early stages of my new job and submit a portfolio using both roles as
evidence?
I should probably mention that my new job is also NHS, but in a completely
different health board and the role is quite different (outreach)
Thanks very much
Jennifer Underwood
