You will be expected to update existing course material and to develop material for new courses and bespoke courses that are tailored to client needs, and to provide post-course email / telephone support to previous delegates. You may also become involved in supporting some of GeoData’s research and consultancy projects, involving GIS data analysis and modelling.
You will be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge and experience of GIS within a research or commercial environment and have proven experience of ESRI products and their development environments. You will have excellent presentation and writing skills, a pragmatic approach to problem solving and a strong attention to detail. A strong working knowledge of other GIS systems, particularly MapInfo or QGIS, experience in the coastal and marine sector and prior experience in GIS training or desktop coaching would be advantageous.
