The next meeting of the Avon group of the Royal Statistical Society will be
on Monday 10 December and will feature two presentations on medical
statistics.
- "Using Genome-wide allelic scores in Data Mining and Mendelian
Randomization Studies", Dave Evans (MRC Centre for Causal Analyses in
Translational Epidemiology)
- "The smoking donor - hazard or benefit to the potential lung transplant
recipient?", Rhiannon Taylor (NHS Blood and Transplant)
The meeting will be held in room LG08, Canynge Hall, 39 Whatley Road (off
Whiteladies Road) at the University of Bristol. The talks will start at 5pm
and end at 6pm, with tea/coffee available from 4.30pm.
