The 1st International Conference on Uncertainties in Transport Infrastructure Evaluation (UNITE) is an interdisciplinary intermediate-size research conference specifically dedicated to transportation research and quantitative methods for risks and uncertainties in particular.
The Conference will bring together major experts and most promising young researchers in the fields of Transportation Modeling and Planning, Operations Research, Economics, Risk Management and Risk Analysis in a setting highly suitable for scientific discussion and active interaction.
Research topics
The conference deals with uncertainties in transport infrastructure evaluation within a wide range of research topics.
Research topics to be discussed at the conference include – but are not limited to – the following:

Abstract and paper submission
Prospective presenters of contributed papers should submit an extended abstract of maximal 3 pages via the link below before February 15, 2013.
Abstracts should include (at least) the following headlines:
• Background
• Methods
• Data
• Results
The abstract will be peer reviewed by a panel of reviewers selected by the members of the program committee. Authors of selected abstracts will be notified by March 15, 2013.
Authors of selected abstracts must submit a full paper. Full papers of a length of 12 – 20 pages using Times New Roman, font size 11 pt. are to be submitted by July 1, 2013 in accordance with the format provided.

Abstract submission opening day: December 1, 2012
Abstract submission closing day: February 15, 2013
Abstract notification day: March 15, 2013
Full paper submission opening day: March 16, 2013
Full paper submission closing day: July 1, 2013
Early bird registration closing day: May 1, 2013.
Regular registration closing day: September 1, 2013
Conference fees
Early registration fee 400 € (for participants who register and pay the fee by May 1, 2013).
Regular registration fee 500 € (for participants who register and pay the fee by September 1, 2013).
The conference fee includes:
• Full participation in the conference (September 16 – 18, 2013)
• Lunch all three days of the conference
• Participation in a reception the first evening of the conference (September 16, 2013), where drinks and snacks will be served.
• Participation in the official conference dinner the second evening of the conference (September 17, 2013) at a restaurant in the centre of Copenhagen.
