Fully agree (it'd be inconsistent not to - my name is actually on that Espresso document :) ). Implementing its recommendations is the next big piece of work we're planning to do on our Shib infrastructure - we simply haven't been able to do this earlier because of the double effort of having to consolidate all our SPs onto one first, and then dealing with Eduserv's retirement of the legacy Athens Agent software... that has been the focus of our last two major releases.
