Dear FSL experts:
I am calculating corpus callosum FA value. I designed two methods:
First method:
1) Get FA map for DTI data(voxel 2*2*2).
2) Register FA map to MNI152_T1_1mm (or FMRIB58_1mm)using FLIRT and get the matrix file.
3) Segment corpus callosum in the dti_FA_flirted image, and get CC_FA_mask image.
4) Using convert_xfm to ge converted matrix flie.
5) Using flirt(-applyxfm, init) to get CC_FA_mask in the original FA image.
Second mehtod:
1) Draw standard CC_mask in the standard FMRIB58_1mm image.
2) Get FA map.
3) Register the FA map to FMRIB58 using FNIRT and get warp file.
4) Get invwarp file using invwarp.
5) Get original space CC_mask using applywarp.
Which method is reasonable, or both not? Or is there a better method?
