Chris,
the files are not needed. The validation jobs will not delete old things
because the new script actually allows for a mixture of EMI/glite nodes.
Only problem is that it gets installed only if it recognises the node it
is running on as EMI. If you only have a small portion of nodes on EMI
it is more difficult for this to happen. I believe RAL changed this
manually infact. Most other sites have installed the nodes on different
queues and this problem hasn't happened.
