First of all I'd just like to say thanks to everyone involved in yesterdays
Index+ User Group day at the British Museum, especially all the guest speakers
and Jonathan Whitson in particular for making everything run so smoothly. I'm
sorry I didn't get to speak to more people or to catch anyone after the visit
to the wonderful Shakespeare exhibition in order to answer any queries that
may have come up during the afternoon session (perhaps I should make myself
available at a neaby tavern after the next event where anyone not rushing back
home can come and find me for a more informal discussion on all things Index+).
Reinvigorated by the day (and the terrific atmosphere of sharing ideas and
experiences) I've finally started my Index+ Developers blog (as promised at
the previous meeting). You can read it here:
http://theindexplusdeveloper.blogspot.co.uk/
It will probably take me a few posts before I settle into a coherent style but
I hope some of you will find informative. Apologies if it's too technical and
please do add your comments, questions and suggested topics for future posts.
If you have any problems with the blog itself (and are unable to leave
comments for example) then email me at:
