In order not to bias the results, I would think that you would want to
include data from all 3 time points in your template. I imagine this
would include warping the 3 time points for each individual to create
an average shape, and then warping those across the group to get a
group template. However, I haven't done that myself, so perhaps
someone with more experience in longitudinal studies can chime in!
