Glen,
slice timing cannot be implemented by changing the header (which
actually counts as a disadvantage as it will invariably involve
interpolation). Instead, the whole image volume is rewritten, with an
'a' prefix. Within these new volumes, the value in each voxel (outside
the reference plane) should be slightly different. If you want to see
the effects, you can simply subtract the corrected from the uncorrected
image (using ImCalc).
