A Swiss picturebook in which a little pig talks with the
author-illustrator and they develop the story together is "Johanna im Zug"
by Kathrin Schärer. There are two levels in the illustrations: a black and
white one showing the drawing hands of the illustrator and a colored one
showing the pig Johanna. It was nominated for the German price for youth
literature in 2010.
It's a really interesting book full of intertextual devices, too.
