I guess this is one of the cases where humans aren't "similar enough" since I've seen nothing sad in this disagreement in particular (nor in disagreements in general.)

It seems that even though the word "limited" may be accurate for all of us, it here implies a judgment on merit that may itself be significantly less accurate.

If you changed that to "a reality. . . as is" rather than "just as much a reality. . . as," I'd agree (if only to avoid a month long discussion of what we mean by "reality") but unless we're getting into the science-as-social-construct thing, I'm not sure how it could be "just as much."
