Digital Participation Officer
Salary: up to £28,250

At the National Maritime Museum, we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to inspire and enthuse audiences. Particularly now, at this pivotal moment in our history, our aim is to engage people from an ever-more diverse range of backgrounds.
We are looking for an imaginative and creative individual to develop a dynamic range of learning opportunities through digital technologies. Your goal will be to widen access to - and participation in - our collections and programmes. Working closely with learning, interpretation and digital media colleagues your role will include development of digital interpretation across audiences.
A proven track record of creating digital content and delivering innovative programmes and events for learning is essential. This should be combined with a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum - particularly in relation to the development of learning skills and use of ICT. You must also be a confident communicator with a good understanding of government initiatives to widen access and increase participation through the use of digital technology and online learning.
