Hi Angie
Echoing the previous points, I'd say don't go with a big SEO agency but get
someone who can 'tune in' to your organisation and who you can work with on
wider issues of content strategy and objectives.
When I was at Kew we used a guy called Dan Barker - [log in to unmask] /
@danbarker - who also helped us with monitoring and metrics, especially
Google Analytics.
The other thing I'd say though from experience is that all the advice in
the world comes to nothing if you don't have the resources, including
people with the right skills to understand the recommendations, to
rigorously implement what is needed. This, and the fact that it's an ever
changing field, are further reasons to build a relationship with someone
rather than spend big bucks on one-off pieces of work.
Regards, James
