Dear Colleagues,
The School of Geography at QMUL is hosting the 9th Annual David M
Smith Lecture on Thursday 15th November 2012.
The lectures celebrate David?s lifelong contribution to work on
questions of social justice and ethics, with each lecture seeking to
explore this broad field in different ways.
This year we are honoured to have Paul Cloke of the University of
Exeter speaking to a lecture entitled: Postsecular Stirrings?
Geographies of hope in amongst neoliberalism (details attached).
The lecture begins at 6pm in the David Sizer Lecture Theatre, and
will be followed by a wine reception. Full details can be found here:

If you would like to attend, please could you RSVP to Amy Tan at
[log in to unmask] so that we can get an idea of numbers.
The lecture is one of QM?s show piece events, and we would like to
welcome you all.
Hoping very much you might be able to join us
As always
