Talk Title: 'National Character Areas: What and Why' by Nancy Stedman
Where and When: Tuesday November 20th, 5.10pm, University of Leeds
Abstract:
Nancy will outline the work that Natural England is currently doing on
updating and drafting landscape objectives for all 159 National
Character Areas in England, with reference to recent research on
'Experiencing landscapes: capturing the cultural services and
experiential qualities of landscapes'. www.naturalengland.org.uk

From the main entrance, go straight on past the front desk, turn
right and first left. Take the lift or stairs to the first floor. On
coming out of the lift/stairs, turn left, room 1.15 is just a little
further along the corridor on your right, almost straight ahead.
