Dear all,
FYI. Sally
Please see attached flyer regarding this year’s LGBT History Month Pre Launch and please circulate far and wide!
Having focussed on sport for the last 2 years, 2013 see the focus for LGBT History Month switch to maths, science and engineering and as such we are having this year’s pre-launch on Thursday 15th November 2012 at Bletchley Park, home of the World War Two code breakers, including Turing, who’s work spanned all three disciplines. As well as celebrating Turing’s life and contributions to these fields, as usual there will be plenty of stalls and inspiration for delegates on how they might celebrate LGBT History Month next February in their school, work place, or anywhere, and invigorating debates and key speakers including, amongst others, Paris Lees, Christine Burns and Linda Bellos.
As always the event is FREE, but you must register here: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/2262814138#
You can come for all, or part of the day.
For transport information please see: www.londonmidland.com/your-journey/timetables<http://www.londonmidland.com/your-journey/timetables>
We hope to see you on 15th November!
Regards
