Dear BAFTSS Members,
As the end of Term hoves into sight, the Cambridge Screen Media Group is
rounding off the year on a high note. We are absolutely delighted to
welcome back Kevin Brownlow, British filmmaker, historian,
documentary-maker, author, and Academy Award winner. His interest in film
started early: by age 11, he was collecting films; at 14, he started to
make his own - and since then, he has devoted much of his life to 'the wise
and devoted chronicling of the cinematic parade'. He will be at CRASSH to
take us back in time for a talk tantalisingly entitled, 'Adventures in Film
History'.
- When: Tuesday, 27th November at 5 for 5.15 pm
- Where: CRASSH, Seminar Room 1, Alison Richard Building, 7 West Road,
Cambridge, CB3 9DP (please note that this session is taking place on the
first floor and not the ground floor).
- How to get there: http://www.crassh.cam.ac.uk/page/9/finding-crassh.htm
For a more detailed biography of Kevin Brownlow, see:

The event is free of charge and open to all, so please forward this message
to anyone who would be interested in attending. As always, it will be
followed by a coruscating Q&A.
Do join us - and a cast of thousands - next week at CRASSH for what
promises to be an unforgettable evening.
