Dear all
From when I used to teach on China, I prepared several hundred 35mm slides to give a visual history, roughly 1800 up to 1949. This included photos from works of Victorian visitors such as John Thompson

I also prepared notes for a "script" for lectures using the illustrations to show the recent history up to the 1949 communist victory. They are rather scrappy, but would serve another user with editing.
The slides are mostly glass mounted. Of course few people use such slides these days, but they could be scanned if anyone wanted to take the trouble.
Anyone interested (free! - but I would ask to pay postage) I am based in London and Brighton.
