We are about to undertake a project to digitise a large number of 35mm slides, film and negatives and we are looking to purchase a digital scanner specifically to scan this time of original at high resolution. We have a large format transparency scanner in the library but it isn’t good at scanning small originals like 35mm slides. Has anyone undertaken a similar project recently, and if so can you recommend a good slide scanner that will enable us to scan at high enough resolution and image quality to enable the resulting image files to be used for print purposes?
(Or can anyone recommend a good website that compares slide scanners?)
Many thanks,
Adam
