Hi all,
Our annual online survey is up at the moment, and we are really keen to get as many responses as we can. We'd especially like to get responses from researchers, be they academic, postgrad, freelance, leisure, etc. But of course we also appreciate responses from archivists, who are often working on behalf of researchers to locate materials.
If you go to the Hub homepage the survey will pop up in that annoying way that they do. http://archiveshub.ac.uk/
This year we have a survey for those familiar with the service and for first time users (as we previously got quite a few responses saying 'I don't know I haven't used it yet'!).
We'd be most grateful if you could draw it to the attention of your researchers. It's our best way of getting feedback on what we are doing and how we could improve.
We now have a page on the Hub that gives you some indication of the feedback that we receive: http://archiveshub.ac.uk/value/
(i'll be expanding it after we get the results of this survey)
This may also be useful for potential contributors to the Hub, as it really does show how much researchers value the service.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Jane.
